Stovebolt is a nicknamed given early Chevy sixes because some of the hardware used resembled Stovebolts.

Around here its used a little differently and means any pre-1973 Chevy or GMC truck or pickup, though sometimes someone with an early Chevy car will show up too.

Somewhere there is an official statement regarding what a Stovebolt is at The Stovebolt, but there is no question your '63 fits in.
