A new guy here on the Stovebolt Page with a question about my newly acquired 1957 Chevy pickup. It is my Dads, he bought it in 1962 (a year before he had me) in Eastern Oregon. I'll be bringing it to New Mexico later this month. It had the 265 V8 and HydraMatic trans, chrome bumper/grill. It has a sun visor and the small rear window. Now the question. The bed rails measures 8' 4" long. It has 6 bolt wheels, 123 1/4", wheelbase. I've read about beds at 6.5 feet, 7.5 feet and 9 feet (1 Ton). Anybody else have this length bed or know where I can find some more info about them? Scott
