As someone who has a 61 with a later style hood, not my doing, I would say keep the origional hood. If you like the look of the newer style, at least make sure to save the old one. I wish that I at least had the origional style laying around in my garage. My truck was in a wreck when she was younger and thus the different hood. Love them 61's.
