As tcleterman says, it depends upon what they look like.

I believe that the wheels through the fifties will fit okay on the front; if the wheels are too wide you'll run into problems. The rear wheels can be whatever you want.

As for "new" wheels... Good luck. AFAIK, the only "new" wheels in production that will fit correctly are the "Bling-Bling" chrome wheels that will definitely look out of place on a '49 1/2 ton and won't accept your hub caps.

Any particular reason that you're ditching your split rims? I'm running the stock 15" split rims on Number Seven and they're working beautifully.
