Tony the top loader would be a excellant choice for the 302.But It has to be adapted. With the 292 it will bolt in by using a scattersheild(lakewood makes it)or plate. I have bought swap meet scattersheilds cheap that the oval track guys use cause they cut the bottom off(no good for the drag guys). You can take those and redrill them and weld nut on the inside. But it still wont work for the GMC.The muncie M-20 has a 2.52 1st 1.88 2nd 1.46 3rd 1to1 top gear
The M21 Has a 2.20 1st 1.64 2nd 1.27 3rd 1to1 top
The M22 is the same as the M21 but straight cut very noisy gears.(probably wont find one anyway, they have a fine spline input)
T-10s have a bunch of diff ratio's some of the first gears are as follows 2.43 2.64 2.88 .

The six speed i have been thinking about with the blown 235 has a 2.66 1st 1.78 2nd 1.30 3rd 1.00 4th 0.74 o/d 5th 0.50 o/d6th but its gonna take a hand fabbed plate and some linkage screwing around. I will really have to keep the speedo disconected so the wife dont see the top end on that one.LOL
