Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | Hey red, you are going to remove the steering box and column in 1 peice. The column is permenatly attached to the box and the shaft is welded to the worm gear inside the box. You will have to take out the seat to get clearance, taking the left fender and inner skirt will make removal easier. I think the column itself in pressed into the box, I never tried to take it apart when I overhauled mine.
