This should be posted in the parts wanted area if it's not there already.
My other 2 or 3 cents may not be worth a penny but I suggest you call Jim Carter for advice 1-800-872-1913. Another idea is to post this question at the big bolts area. I do know that Gabriel brand shocks are very good.
My 1-ton 1950 had no rear frame brackets either but 3/4 ton brackets are a perfect fit and a lot easier to find. Since I will not be hauling bricks they will be fine.
