The Gallery is a great way to see a couple of hundred trucks. You'll notice that there are a bunch that have wanted to stick with traditional stock colors.
A few have ventured on another path. But one thing is clear, you'll see a truck, not other vehicle, in a color that either does it or don't for the truck.
I had the same dilema. That was until I spotted one that had been in my head but never really visualized. I was then able to email the owner and get the paint name and manufacturer.
But the best is to attend car shows to see them up front.
