Well. . . I would say it depends on what really gets you going the most. Is it the hot rod that drives by, and accelerates and makes you deaf, or do you appreciate more seeing a gorgeous restored truck?

Also, this is purely based on opinion, but the truck that you have seems aesthetically to lend itself to hot rodding as opposed to restoration. I would choose an earlier generation truck if you were looking for a really nice restoration project. The 64 models just look mean (I have a 65). Make sure and let us know what you decide!
