Just wanted to add that if everything else is in proper adjustment except mixture, I always started rich, then hooked up a tachometer. Slowly lean out mixture until rpm's just begin to drop (25 to 50 rpm is good). That typically will run very well.
Heavy metal worker--up to 4-inch plate.... If you can't cut it, burn it!
