I have the same setup on my engine, 600 cfm Edelbrock 4 barrel performer, Edelbrock performer intake and 350 bored 40 over. Same problem with adjustment, always too rich and strong gas smell when idling after stopping. No matter how much I have tried adjusting it, I always get the same results, mileage sucks at around 13 mpg. I am not the greatest mechanic around, should I take it to a reputable shop to have it checked out or just learn to live with it? The truck runs great otherwise but could this cause damage to the engine if it isn't corrected?
