The casted numbers are on the block right next to the starter. If fact while standing on the passenger side looking into the engine compartment, you'd be looking at the starter. Look behind the starter against the block. I had to wide tons of grime off and found.
CON4 B262
Don't remember what the CON4 means but the B262 means B for Feb. 26 for the 26th of Feb and 2 for 1962
If it was A123, this would be I believe Jan 12, 1963.
