If fact while standing on the passenger side looking into the engine compartment, you'd be looking at the starter. Look behind the starter against the block. I had to wide tons of grime off and found.
CON4 B262
Don't remember what the CON4 means but the B262 means B for Feb. 26 for the 26th of Feb and 2 for 1962
If it was A123, this would be I believe Jan 12, 1963.
