I had a similar problem on Sunday with my '52 6100. Put the new fuel pump on and still no gas up to the carb...shouldn't be necessary to prime it. Took the pump off a couple of times to make sure the arm was riding on the cam correctly...gave up took off the new fuel pump only to discover a length of braided wire fuel line from the tank was plugged due to collapse of the rubber gas line inside. This happened on a truck that had been sitting for 10 years but it was the last thing we thought of. Now I'm going to try the old fuel pump (with the glass dome) and see if it was fine all along!!
