I have newer truck rims on my '52 3/4 ton.
They clear by the tie rod ends by 1/2 inch with
no problems.
They are 16x6 and came of an early 90's dodge
1 ton van. I also have some 16x6.5 wheels off
an 86 GMC 3/4 ton and these do have clearance problems, so that 1/2 inch made a difference.
All of the wheels had a about a 1" positive offset. Also...the dodge and GMC wheels were
virtually identical (except width) and looked like the same manufacturer.
