Hopefully someone out there can help me. I am rebuilding a '68 1/2 ton 2WD Suburban. I have the front end all apart in preperation for drop spindles and front disks. While I am at it, I am replacing all the wear items. I am completely stumped by the control arm bushings though. On dissassembly, I can not figure out what is the actual bushing. The end nut seems to have a shoulder that fits inside the bushing area of the control arm. Is this shoulder the actual bushing? It seems to be one piece with the end nut. How do you determine if it's worn and how do you replace it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Paul

P.S. I guess I'm an honorary stove bolter, my boat has a '72 250 L6 driving an OMC leg. 2 barrel carb to boot!
