The truck actually drives pretty good now. Homer pretty much rebuilt it all.
The front end is not a stock 67, nor is the steering column or gear. That would be causing our problems.
I don't get to talk to Homer as much as I'd like to, so I ask questions of you kind people.

The way it looks for now, I'll hjave to wait about two weeks to have all the parts I need to do the re-wiring to get the truck back to crankable condition.
Then, I'll take it to Homer's shop and see what he can do with the steering issues.
The truck is currently sitting in my yard, pointed uphill. So, I can't safely be doing some of the things that some of you have mentioned here. Thanks for the tips and advice.
