Figured it's about time I got the speedo working on My 53 GMC 1/2 ton.
I live in a small town in the boonies so don't have easy access to a speedo repair shop.
I've got the original speedometer. I'm pretty sure it's in working order.
The original cable which is siezed and probably broken in a few spots, and a turbo 400 automatic transmission (bolted to a chevy 400 small block).
Anyone know where I might find the parts to make up a cable that will mate up to the speedo and trany, or someone that could make one up for me.
Any info on this would be most welcome.
