Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 1,682 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 1,682 | It'll work on the 39 thru 53 trucks for sure.. not sure about other years.. unless you're talking about putting 1/2 ton fenders on a Big Bolt truck frame.. then I think it only works up to a 1 ton.
In the '39 thru '46 trucks, I think the only difference between 1/2 ton and 1.5 ton fenders is the wheel opening and maybe the width.. the hoods are interchangable.
In the later trucks, I understand the hood is longer, which would suggest the fenders were longer?
an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.
