you'd prolly be suprised how many folks here plod along on dialup - remember we're united by our love of lo-tech pre-computer vehicles, and many only put up w/ being on the web for the sake of their ol truck!!
but more important is the load on the server here, which is handling millions of hits, and every byte counts!
