hey yall.
ok, question of the day- i am still enough of a morron that i can't figgure out how to identify the engine in my truck. its not the origional engine, but a later 6-cylinder from a car maybe?? the guy who sold it to me didnt know what the engine was, but knew it was rebuilt in the last few years nd had almost no miles on hte rebuild. it runs great, but i would like to know what i have for future stuff. all the numbers i have( hte truck isn't at my house) are:
on the exaust manifold- 3923418 GM34
and on the right side(from the cab) 348675 GM5 and sk264
thats every number i could find on the engine. i don't know how much of a later model than it is of the truck(63) so i dont know where to start scearching, and all the sites i have found either are for V8's or use the year of the truck to identify the engine.( i have gone through the links page, but i didnt get what i needed) any help would be appriciated. thanks
