Brian, the key was pretty well jammed in and the cylinder contacts were badly worn down. Must have been that way a long time. It explained why the truck started poorly at times. I would have to jiggle it abit when trying to start the truck. Since the housing looked good I popped in a new $8 cylinder and the truck fires off consistently now.
