It gets even easier. I have a 59 1 ton and tried a bunch of take offs. What I should have done first, and did do, was go to my local wheel shop. Turns out steel wheels are pretty easy to get and most of them made for old trucks fit all old trucks. I got mine with used tires for like $450. Follow the link to see my truck.
