Guys while I have you here...
Another problem. My flywheel and the one I purchased from the salvage yard appear to have 7/16" holes but the crank holes on the 292 have 1/2" holes. What are some good sources for 1/2" standard flywheels? I'm guessing that it would have to be an 80s model heavy duty pickup.
Would it be possible to have a machine shop just re-tap the holes to 1/2", fine thread?
