I have a 55 second series, 3100. 235 engine. It is all original. The only thing I have done is replace the covering on the seat, new radiatior, water pump, brake drum cylinders, muffler, and battery. It has 66,100 original miles on it. Oringinal paint, etc. in very good condition for its age. The bed boards have been replaced by the original owner, but the spare under the bed is the original. I have replaced the rear main seal and the oil pan gasket, but other than that, it is in good shape.
My question is, how much cleaning and restoration should I do on this truck or should I leave it as original as possible? I do not have the $$$ to do a frame off, but I want to preserve it as best I can and still enjoy it. It is stored in a heated basement garage, so the weather is not a problem.
