While waiting for the snow to melt; I might as well tinker with the rest. To take truck'26 further apart, I was thinking to leave the axles on as long as I can. To make it easier to take apart the rest, wheels off, brakes off (rear only), driveshaft off and then lower the springs with differential in rear and axle with springs in the front. Anything wrong with that? I made some very sturdy wooden supports to keep frame @ 30 inches so I can work under and on top without any danger. I know there’s no such thing but almost no danger.
Then I’ll strip the engine and make a hoist and pull the engine with transmission to see if it will ever run again. Would you do it like this? Or am I making a mistake here? This is the first time I take an oldie apart that far. Any suggestions? Tips? How do you record all the parts, just pictures or do you write everything down in a journal? It might be the first time, but I want to do it right the first time.

Thanks
Richard
