When I was younger and dumber I used to haul Cadillacs, Buicks, Lincolns, you name it on a regular flatbed car trailer behind a Luv with a 400 sbc in it. Praise be that I never hurt myself or worse, someone else. It did teach me that almost any vehicle will PULL a trailer but you need the right one to stop it. Now it's nothing but a 3/4T (or bigger) with disc AND trailer brakes. We all learn--I hope.
