Compression pressure isn't as important as uniformity between cylinders. If you use 3 different compression gauges, it's likely you'll get 3 different readings. I like to see numbers in the 85-to-125 pound range, with no more than 10% variation between cylinders. If you get a major bump in pressure when a little oil is added to the cylinder, you're headed for piston ring problems soon. If a low cylinder doesn't come up when a tablespoon or so of oil is added, the problem is probably valve-related.
