The '53/'54 car clock works in the truck housing. I have seen them sell on eBay for $25-$75, depending on condition.
The
\'54 truck clock is wind-up (and has a light bulb). There were two car clocks, one wind-up and the other electric (both with light bulb and both fit into the truck clock-housing).
Some people think the winder on the car clock is in a different position than on the truck clock. I think they were the same part number and the winder was just came in a different location from the manufacturer.
