I bought a new heavy duty 4 core radiator from Jim Carter for my 63 with a sbc. The radiator seems like a good piece and fits the truck. The problem is that the thermostat housing neck is 11/2" and the upper neck on the new radiator is 13/4" and the hose that they sold me is 11/2" ID on both ends. Has anybody run into this problem before and if so what have you done? Jim Carter is closed all week so I haven't called them yet, but I have a pretty good idea what their response is going to be. I can drive to either Jim Carter or Chevy Duty in about 20 minutes or LMC Truck in about 45. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for you guys that have to order everything.
