Traditional extended cab mods on the AD body style usually involve grafting a whole other cab to the back, giving it four full doors.. that really streches the thing out and never really put any lead in my pencil.
What I like about the Mongo Mod is that it isn't this over the top extention.. just a slight bit.. enough to give you some desperatly needed behind the seat room in the AD cab.. you could put reclining buckets in there!!
I'm all about functional mods that dont detract from the original, classic styling, and I think that's what KC has accomplished here.. it really blends into the flow of the truck.
That my friends, is art.
To put it another way.. I generally don't care at all for 5 window designs.. if I had one, i'd sell it in a minute to replace it with a 3 window.. and to be honest, the AD style really dosen't turn my crank, either.
But THAT 5 window design? I might just have to open up some more room for another 1/2 ton in my stable. (set to the stock height, of course!)
