Had one in my 2002 suburban. Towed both my boats 2600lbs and 3200 lbs, also towed home my 3600. No problem at all. I traded it in on a new one a few weeks ago. It had 96k trouble free miles. Got the same motor in my new one. I will tell you one thing, on cold mornings when you start it up it sounds like theres marbles in the crankcase for the first 20 seconds.
