I am in the process of rebuilding the front end of my 49 1/2 ton. Got a set of drag link and tie rod replacement balls from one of the vendors. Got all of them pressed out okay and three of the new ones pressed in with no problem. The last one, which is one of the tie rod balls was a very loose fit in the hole. Same size as the one on the other end. Any ideas on a solution other than welding the ball stud in? The shank on the new replacement ball is about .011 smaller than the one I pressed out. Thanks for any input.
