for what ever reason, the problem has taken place since I installed the replacement module in my mallory electronic dist, no points, condenser,before that I had no big problem with it starting, the only previous problem as mentioned was its random dieing, I did fixed this dieing problem with the new module.. tomorrow I will know if the new plugs help,I did find one of the ballast wires going to the - side of the coil not tighten good?? thanks for the response, other then the hard starting, it runs and idles great...........regards..Fred
