I put a 292 in my 59 and had to cut and modify the motor mounts to make it work, but am very pleased with the result. If I were to go back to the original 235 I could easily cut off those mounts, and scuff off the welds with the grinder such that you would never know the difference. I used an electric fan for a while too. No big.
