atomarc 'Bolter A Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 Eureka, CA	J Lucas, You are correct. The pine used in the beds was Southern Yellow Pine, quite hard and very tough. The soft pine you are thinking of would be Ponderosa Pine or Sugar Pine.. Stuart
