Over a year ago, I told y'all about my son being a nuisance in the shop. He turned three in September, and I am now ready for him to be my helper in the garage. In order to prepare him for working on the truck, last weekend, we tore his go-kart apart in preparation for paint. He handed me tools when I asked for them, and I taught him how to use a ratchet. He hates hearing the sound of a hammer on metal. I let him go inside when I start banging on things or using my grinder. He spent most of the afternoon with me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
