I use a ceiling mount LP unit, and I run a dehumidifier year round. Actually
I have two dehumidifier's running, keeps it nice and cool in the summer.

If you have gas cans around or spill any gasoline, you want that pilot light
at least six feet off the ground. (check local laws)
