Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!
| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 63 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 63 | I have my 52 1/2 ton tore apart. The springs are shot. I have seen a huge difference in prices for springs on the net from $150 a pair from JC Whitney to $400+ from some AD truck vendors. This truck will be a daily driver. Any brand/supplier better than any other? I like stock height and of course my son wants to lower it some. I am open to all suggestions and experiences with suppliers. Yes I know that IFS is an option but again there is a huge variety of brands and prices. The truck will look restored but will have a v8, 700R4 combo in it so I can travel in traffic with some semblence of the speed limit. And of course the wife keeps my son and I on a budget!! Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions, Wayne | | |
