Does anyone know, with certainty, when GM built their first Crew Cab pickup??? The earliest I've ever seen was a '61 SWB 4x4 that was originally owned by Burlington Northern. Saw this truck in a yard outside La Junta, CO around 1997 or so. Stopped and talked to the owner; neat old work truck. GM had to have made one earlier than that, maybe??? Or, maybe GM had a vendor custom-build cabs on an as-ordered basis?

Again, anyone know for certain???
