I had a '53 about 20 years back;bought it from a retired trucker who was restoring it. Everything was done but the engine and shocks.(and paint.) It was a 3 window,and was light tan with black fenders,an orange tailgate and aqua doors. I'd stop at the gas station and put in 2 bucks worth of gas and 3 quarts of oil. It'd go about a mile on a new plug before it fouled. but I only paid 50 dollars for it,and it got me around for about 3 years,then I sold it to a high school kid for 100 bucks,found out a couple of years later he took it out to his family's ranch and parted it out. I'm still bummed. It's # 2 on my list of "If I could do it again..."
