#19025 08/06/2003 3:53 AM | Joined: May 2003 Posts: 111 Member | | Member Joined: May 2003 Posts: 111 | I have a 68 Fleetside C-10. The only gas tank in the truck currently is the cab tank. My Dad's 72 had 3 tanks, 2 saddle and one cab.
1st question: Where can you buy these saddle tanks?
2nd: Will the saddles from 73+ fit ok?
3rd: If I only put one saddle in on drivers side, would the truck feel imbalanced? (I hated turning around at the station to fill the other side)
4th: Ref. the Blazer option where the spare tire mount is: Can the filler neck be routed to the side of the bed? If so I see this as the best option. Opinions?
Oh and reason for extra gas? Fisherman, who likes undeveloped (no houses) lakes.
