"that bad" is a relative term.
I couldn't get a $250 bid for a '59 cab with the original windsheild in it AND doors, grill, fenders, engine and trans because the freight would have been crazy high.
Most transport outfits for vehicles won't pick something up unless you can roll it on and off.. a cab would probably require a flatbed.
If the cab will fit in the back of a tractor trailor, and you have a forklift to put it on with, that would probably be the least expensive method of shipping, short of finding a private individual who just happens to be going that way empty to do it.
Check that Yesterdays Tractor message board.. I hear they have a section of their board just for lining up shipping vehicles and tractors.
