Don't think so. Not with this increase, because the big end of the 292 rods are smaller than the 261 and I'm not going to weld to make more stroke than I could achieve just offset grinding. The idea of getting power without revving too high is quite clever in this case. I do not plan spinning it more than 5.000 rpm anyway(this will not be a drag racing engine and this rpm may be sustained a short while, but not all day long, of course). Would even consider sacrificing some numbers than over revving and breaking. Also plan using a shorter duration higher lift cam.
