I rebuilt my Monojet last week and bent the arm from the power pump to the metering rod to spec.....atleast I think I did, cause now the truck coughs and sputters when you step on the throttle. It runs lean. Have to use the choke to get it to anything close to properly.
I pushed the arm down as far as it would go and then did the measurement. However I didn't have the actual metering rod attached, sssoooo I'm thinking this would have given me a false starting point. I plan on re-measuring, but I want to make sure you're supposed to have the metering rod attached. All the paper work with the kit says is to push the arm and pump down near a flat surface and measure.
