I remember seeing/hearing a lot of TV & radio ads for a company called "Automotive Engineering" in the S.F. Bay Area when I was a kid back in the '70's. The jingle went "Automotive Engineering pleases thousands, why not you?" Now the obvious first question is why in the heck can I remember something as stupid and obscure as that but if my wife give me a list of 3 things to get at the grocery store I can guarantee you I'll forget at least one of the things. I can't help how my brain works (or doesn't). Anyway, Automotive Engineering was a pretty big company back then, maybe even nationwide like an AAMCO or something. I don't know if they're still around but you might try a web search. You never know what might pop up. I'll try to find out some more info for you and let you know.
