I agree, it's a shame to go after the lady like that and it's a shame to have all that iron rusting away, too. I'm sure a lot of it is junk and should be disposed of properly but I'd guess there's some real gems in there, too. I'd be interested in helping in whatever way I could.
I think we're going to be seeing more of these types of things as people buy vacation homes outside urban areas and the cities push into the hinterlands and they suddenly get concerned with the "environmental" damage (read that 'eye sore' and affect on property values) these represent. It seems they aren't concerned until they have to look at them. Oops, I'm letting my personal opinion out--oh well.
