I have a .060 bored 292 with stock type pistons (about 8:1 CR). Performance goodies are an Offenhauser single 4 barrel intake with an Edelbrock 500 cfm electric choke carb, HEI distributor, long tube headers & RV type cam. The head was rebuilt back to stock specs.
If I had it to do over again I would at least bump up the compression ratio (CR) and give the head a good port & polish. Ken is extremely patient and is doing his 292 right the first time.
