Bowtie Max put an Old Air Products a/c in his '55.
He wrote a tech tip on it for us. His closing remarks were "Before closing I would like to say how nice the people at Old Air Products are to work with. Their tech staff will give you all the assistance you need in solving a problem. I am very pleased with the performance of this unit both in town and on the road. Comments about this project are welcome, good or bad."
Feel free to do a Google search from the menu, too - "air conditioning" - there are a lot of folks who have a/c in their Bolt. Some of the names may be familar and you can contact them directly (if there's not much response to this thread).
