Welcome to the Stovebolt Page, Bethany!

If you all need help doing what Wrenchbender said to do, we can help with that as well! Don't sweat it, Either here or in the Engines and Drivelines forum we have plenty of fellows who can walk you through it.

If you know what year and model Mom's truck is, that can help us get started on what you might need.

First of all, you're sure that whatever is leaking is oil and that it's from the axle? Sometimes it could be something else leaking from somewhere else, running down onto the axle to look like it's an axle leak. Just be sure it isn't brake fluid or something else -- rule out the easy stuff before you start tearing into the axle.

Once you get to that point, the experts like Wrenchbender can take over. But we'll git 'er done!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope we can help you get it taken care of!

Regards,
John Milliman
