On '47-'55 1st series Chevrolets, the cab, is the same, on all models 1/2 ton, thru 2 ton. On '47 -'55 GMC's the same cab was used on, 1/2 ton thru 5 ton. Anything larger than a 650 series 5 ton GMC Conventional, used the GMC Heavy Duty "Big Cab".
